Well, Supercon 2006 is in the books! Thanks to all who attended, to the vendors and to everyone who helped make things run so smoothly! A good time was had by all (or at least we hope so!) We had 292 models entered and from the looks of things a very good turnout of folks taking it all in and taking advantage of all the vendors who were present. Again, thanks to the many volunteers from the club who helped man the desk and the registration tables and to all those who helped with the judging (an especially tough job this year!)
The photos from the contest are being uploaded. A change with the way the photos are being hosted (Yahoo Photo Albums) forced us to cut the links to the member gallery pages and will delay us a little in posting the contest photos but stay tuned... Hopefully later this week we'll have things squared away and the contest photos uploaded. Until then... take care! |

Hello again from hot and sunny Fort Worth Texas! I'd like to apologize to our Fort Worth Club members (and anyone else waiting on me) for the very long delay in getting this update out. A combination of computer issues, busy family schedules and flat out procrastination has caused this to be long overdue. Again my apologies.
The big news is our annual contest is just over a month away. SuperCon 2006 will take place September 9th at the Arlington Bob Duncan Community Center. Our theme for this year's contest celebrates the 30th anniversary of the first flight of the F-16A Fighting Falcon. Please check the links for Supercon info and we hope to see you there!
I'm also trying to get photos from the last several club meetings uploaded and linked into the website. Stay tuned!
